Motor City Casino's temporary site is located in
downtown Detroit at the junction of Grand River
and the Lodge Freeway. They opened December, 1999.
They have over 2500 slot machines and over 100
table games in the 75,000 sq. ft. area. They have
five restaurants including Deli Unique, LaShish,
Iridescence, High Octane and Classics Buffet. There
is an adjacent parking garage with spaces for about
3000 vehicles. It is connected with an enclosed
skywalk to the casino. They also have valet parking
that reportedly works very well and efficiently.
