MGM Grand Casino's temporary site is located in
downtown Detroit. They are just west of Woodward
and south of Michigan Avenue near the Detroit
River. They opened June, 1999. First casino in
Detroit.
They have about 2700 slot machines and 80 table
games in their 75,000 square foot area. There are
three dining areas and a handy attached parking
area with 2200 spaces. Plus, there is valet parking
for another 1100.
Dining includes The Hollywood Brown Derby featuring
steak and seafood with a piano lounge, Jave Coast
Grille, and Venti Uno. The MGM Grand Buffet seats 440
with a wide selection of food from around the world.
