Windenergy

The uses of windenergy are constantly being upgraded. We know that you are interested in seeing more pictures of windmills and windfarms, but it's even more important to make you aware of the progress being made in their use. Pictures can of course quickly show you some uses, but it's important that we also offer some other input as to their place in the renewable, alternative energy picture.

There is one thing that these pictures can do. That is to show how windfarms can co-exist with many other uses of the same space! They have little impact on farmland. They can occupy the same space as a forest of smaller trees and taller windmills. They could even be installed in lakes if necessary to conserve space. In other words, there really isn't a valid reason to be concerned that they will require too much space to be of practical use for creating significant amounts of energy.
