Geothermo Energy?
Ok it's Geothermal
(I was just trying to help out those of you who aren't sure of the
spelling of geothermo - Geothermal so you could find us! :-)*
Geothermal energy principals can be, and sometimes are, used to provide
a significant source of alternative energy. It seems to me that we're
missing the boat on this by not combining this principal with one or
more of the other "alternative" sources of energy such as solar or wind.
It's evident that heat pumps have been successfully used for several
years. So, what's the holdup on further developing the huge potential
here? For the most part, there's a seemingly unlimited source of "energy"
stored underground worldwide! I can remember as a child digging in the
sand at White Sands, New Mexico and remarking how "Cool" it was as we
dug deeper and deeper. Except in extremes like the North Pole and South
Poles, the temperature ten (10) feet underground remains a constant
50-60 degrees year round. Why do we continue to ignore, for the most
part, such huge sources of energy? Answer this question correctly and
you can win big at the "Lotto" at the various stock exchanges!
